Insurance provider fonesure has launched a range of block policy packages, with the aim of enabling independent retailers to capture more of the b2b sector.
The policies will replicate a dealer’s pre-existing consumer model, with premiums now being worked out on a sliding scale, dependent on the total value of handsets.
Retailers will be able to provide customer post-sale benefits whilst adding monthly revenues to their bottom line as the policies are available at the point of sale and incorporated into the sale of any network’s business package.
They will be available in monthly and annual contracts with businesses able to register an unlimited number of handsets, enabling phones to be insured for as little as £1 per handset.
fonesure managing director Stuart Turner said: “In a competitive marketplace independents will increasingly look to capture more of the lucrative b2b sector, where an essential part of the sale will hinge around being able to offer fast and viable insurance proposition.”
