Samsung channel marketing head Susan Land said: “This is not the new ‘pink’. It’s the new ‘black’, and will be aimed at women in their mid to late 20s.”
Last week, Samsung also announced tie-ups with fashion house Armani and deluxe hi-fi brand Bang & Olufsen. Both the Armani handset and the Bang & Olufsen ‘Serenata’ music handset will be released in November.
Land said the Armani name would be carried across a range of high-end handsets.
