The Kent-based distributor now works with a total of five IT agencies. Sales and marketing director Harvey Alexander (pictured) said the first three agencies, which were appointed during the past eight months, had already helped Moco increase mobile data sales by 20 per cent.
“With the appointment of the two new agencies, we hope to increase mobile data sales by an extra 10 per cent,” he said. “Having IT agencies on board has enabled us to win larger deals, such as with large councils. If we can offer a total solution, we can beat the guys who are just selling cheap deals. Customers now want a converged solution as they are getting smarter, and we can offer it.”
MoCo’s drive for data will also be bolstered by a recruitment of five more B2B sales managers. This is on top of its recent appointment of new B2B sales manager Simon Low, previously part of Orange’s direct sales team.
