Timico appoints Voda sales manager

Newark-based service provider Timico has appointed former Vodafone sales manager Andrew North as director of account mangement and account development.

North has been in the telecoms industry for 11 years. He joins from Vodafone, where he spent four years, most recently as area sales manager for London. He has also worked previosuly as head of client services at service provider Project Telecom, bought by Vodafone in 2003 for £155 million.

North reports in to Timico chief executive Chris Tombs in his new role, created specifically to develop existing dealer relations and recruit new connectors. Timico said North will drive convergence sales within its dealer base 

North said: "Timico is the the only organisation that actually delivers true converged communications services – with advanced functionality and cost saving benefits. We can supply SMEs’ mobile, fixed-line, data and VoIP needs within a single service wrap with one account manager and all charges on a single bill arranged in the way that  suits them."

Tombs added: "Andrew’s experience in sales, customer acquisition and account development will be invaluable and help sell the full breadth of our services to existing cusomers.”
