The Oxford-based company, which offers customisation and configuration to non-specialist retailers, has been providing Datz.com-branded vouchers with phones supplied to Woolworths, WHSmith, Littlewoods and Sainsbury’s.

Comment managing director Michael Richardson said: “It took three weeks to get our first 1,000 hits and another week to double that. But to have 500 tracks bought a day shows it’s turning into a massive success. If this continues, we’ll look to develop the service with new features on the website early next year.”
