HTC has announced the Touch Cruise, the third member of its Touch handset range and the first to feature GPS navigation.
The handset comes with HTC’s TouchFLO technology, where the user can sweep their finger across the screen to enhance finger touch scrolling and browsing of web pages, documents, messages and contact lists.
The Windows Mobile 6 device also comes with HSDPA connectivity, a three-megapixel camera and 2.8” screen.
HTC Europe vice president Florian Seiche said: “The original HTC Touch has already been a phenomenal success, and the HTC Touch Cruise with fully integrated GPS adds another dimension to our leading touch screen device family."
A spokesperson said that the device will follow the original Touch handset and be targeted at the consumer market, but added: “It’s also a powerful PDA so also has the applications that can make it a useful device for business users.”
The Touch Cruise will be available at the end of November through Orange and O2 at £387 on prepay.
