O2 UK general manager of channel support Ian Driver (pictured) has quit after almost eight years with the network.

Driver leaves O2 at the end of November.

O2 UK sales director Mark Stansfeld said: “Ian has played an enormous role both in the success of our business to date and in helping build the support function foundations in the Sales Directorate. I want to give Ian my warmest personal thanks for all his contributions and wish him every success in the future”.

Driver’s departure follows the rationalization of O2’s indirect sales team under indirect chief David Plumb earlier this year, with former dealer chief Iain MacIntyre moved aside in June as Maggie Kennedy took charge of dealer, as well as distributor, sales.
