The independent retailer, which has just opened its latest shop in Woolwich, will have premises in Central London with an initial staff of six.
Fonehouse managing director Clive Bayley said that the retail market has become so unpredictable this year that it’s important to branch out and widen its choice.
“Retail is going through a strange period – October was fantastic for us, but November was very quiet,” he said. “It’s very hard to read and the industry is converging quickly, so it’s important to ensure we don’t get left behind.
“There are more and more businesses out there looking for help with their mobile systems and we’ll now be able to go out and drive those numbers into our business.”
