O2 scored the highest in each of the three categories gaining 74 per cent of the vote for speed, 72 per cent for reliability and 79 per cent for customer service. The results placed O2 above AOL (UK), Orange, TalkTalk Broadband, BT Broadband and Sky.
The poll has been welcomed by O2, who only entered the broadband market in October. O2 UK marketing director Sally Cowdry said: “We launched O2 Broadband with a commitment to creating an overall quality of experience that sets a new standard in the market.
“We’re delighted that just over one month since launch independent research from experts shows that we are delivering on this promise.”
