‘The Angel’ is a gadget placed in a mobile instead of the handset’s normal battery, and generates a neutralising field over the allegedly harmful radio waves emitted by the phone.
Technology company Exradia developed ‘The Angel’ using research commissioned by the US government, and studies done by the Catholic University of America.
Exradia’s CEO David Schick said: “Fonehouse are ideal partners to take The Angel onto the high street. They’re forward thinking, and determined to help their customers make an informed choice about mobile phone health. Incontrovertibly, we know that mobile phones impact all of us.”
The device went on sale in Fonehouse stores this week for £24.99 and is also being offered free with certain contracts.
