Microsoft senior marketing manager Jemma Harris said: “Our training squad will start visiting independents in February to increase the support we give them. There’ll be two phases to our programme for dealers – we’ll send them customer marketing material and we’ll run face-to-face training sessions.”
Microsoft’s training team has been in operation for nine months and already trained staff in Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone, Orange, O2 and T-Mobile stores.
Dealer training sessions will last around one hour each. There are 10 different sessions available, each covering different aspects of Windows Mobile.
