ort both B2B and retail dealers in selling the Research in Motion (RIM) devices. It launched on December 3.
Forty dealers have already signed up, but there is room for a total of 100.
Programme members will receive bespoke BlackBerry point of sale material, training from BlackBerry specialists, online training modules, and the opportunity to become a RIM-accredited reseller.
HSC business manager Bob Sweetlove said: “We are working very closely with RIM to build a dealer channel for it to grow its UK market share.
“Our aim is to be the number one choice for BlackBerry in the indirect channel. We are then working to accredit as many of these dealers as possible throughout 2008 by visiting their outlets, measuring their sales and proving their knowledge.
“The programme promises to make dealers into BlackBerry device champions.”
