Unique chief executive Andy Tow said: “HP has invested a great deal into this partnership. We are confident we can deliver the brand awareness and market reach it is looking for.”
The iPAQ 514 was on sale SIM-free through Unique as of last Wednesday, with further iPAQ models available through Q1. The iPAQ 514 features Microsoft Office applications and VoIP capabilities.
Meanwhile, Unique has appointed industry veteran Noel Dingwall as T-Mobile account manager.
Dingwall entered the telecoms sector as a dealer in 1981. He has also worked previously for Unique Distribution’s forerunner, Unique Air. Tow said: “The wealth of experience and business knowledge Noel brings to Unique will be invaluable.”
