Advantage has announced it can offer the ‘Blue Mobile’ stock market application as part of a smartphone tariff bundle.
Blue Mobile allows investors to analyse global stock market information from their smartphone. Advantage has made it available on all its BlackBerry, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and HTC smartphones, on top of a customer’s regular data, voice and text package.
Subscription to Blue Mobile is £9.95 a month and customers typically will need a 3GB allowance in their monthly data bundle to run the application.
Advantage managing director John McFarnon said: “We expect the demand for smartphones to dramatically rise in 2008 and with Blue Mobile we can offer customers a valuable application to help achieve this growth.”
Blue Systems chief executive Sulim Malook said: “Typically those who trade spend more than 95 per cent of their day analysing and less than 5 per cent trading. Our deal with Advantage will ensure customers get the best deals while keeping abreast of the marketplace.”
