Mainline has launched a fulfilment service for B2B dealers which offers next day delivery of orders.
The service will run next to an existing business-to-consumer scheme. Dealers can place orders by phone, fax or email and can choose to transfer all or some of the goods to Mainline’s in-house fulfilment centre. A returns service is also available.
Orders placed by 4.15pm on a working day will be delivered before noon the next day. Deliveries can be tracked, confirmed and cancelled online.
Mainline business channel marketing manager Stephen Spillett said: “This new service is especially useful for dealers who don’t want to hold large levels of stock, with all the associated security and insurance headaches, or who need to fulfil a time-sensitive delivery or a large order.
“It will help dealers to control costs, focus on sales and enhance their levels of customer service.”
