Orange distributor Mainline Digital Communications has launched a Visa card for club dealers.
The prepay Visa card is loaded up with a percentage of the dealer’s marketing fund each time they make a connection via the distributor, part-owned by Orange. The Mainline card can be used anywhere that accepts Visa card payments.
The official launch of the card to dealers follows its ‘soft launch’ last year. Mainline has so far paid £100,000 onto participating account. Mainline allows two Visa cards per dealership.
Mainline business channel marketing manager Stephen Spillett said: “Mainline encourages dealers to spend on business enhancing purchases, such as staff incentives, office equipment and customer promotions. This is great for boosting staff morale and continually growing the dealer’s Orange business.”
Meanwhile, Mainline is extending its Orange and BlackBerry training sessions across the country in response to dealer demand.
Mainline wants the training sessions, which showcase BlackBerry capabilities to its elite Business Mobile dealer club, to maximise sales. They include interactive demonstrations from RIM and Orange. Dealers are guided through the BlackBerry connection and set up process, and shown new BlackBerry applications.
