Samsung UK and Ireland vice president Mark Mitchinson has raised more than £58,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The funds are the result of months of fundraising, through events including a charity dinner and auction and Mitchinson running the Flora London Marathon last month.

Mitchinson is pictured handing over the proceeds of his marathon charity-raising effort for Cystic Fibrosis, helped by soccer legend Ray Wilkins (left).

Mitchinson was inspired to help the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in honour of his colleague Richard McGowan who succumbed to cancer earlier this year. McGowan’s daughter suffers from Cystic Fibrosis.
