Fone Logistics is offering a grand prize to the dealer who sells the most O2 converged voice and data connections.

From May 1 to June 30, dealers will get the chance to win a Samsung 40” TV and Blu-ray player. To qualify, dealers must get 40 O2 connections over the two months of the promotion; 20 per cent of connections must also be secondary connections.

Fone Logistics sales and marketing director Julien Parven said: “We are performing exceptionally well in serving O2 with secondary business having just come off a record quarter. With this initiative we are well on track for further growth.”

Fone Logistics’ Select Business programme aims to add a third network in the third quarter of this year, adding to the two it currently covers.

Meanwhile, Fone Logistics has announced it will acquire rival distributor Dextra’s airtime business.

It is proposed that Dextra’s sales force will merge with that of Fone Logistics. it is also proposed that all back office functions and support be managed from Fone Logistics’ head office in Cramlington.

Subject to an agreement being reached, Fone Logistics would conclude the back office management transfer with a target completion date for the end of June.
