Data Select staff take to marathon to raise money for degenerative disease

Data Select commercial director Roy Taylor will be joined by head of dealer sales Ian Miller and head of marketing Jason Kemp in a half marathon in Staffordshire on June 8.

The crew will be running to raise money for the neurodegenerative disease Friedrich’s Ataxia, which Taylor’s 10-year-old stepson Jack suffers from. The lie-shortening rare genetic disorder affects Jack’s co-ordination and balance, meaning he will eventually become completely wheelchair-bound.

Said Kemp: "Because this neurological disease is still so unknown we desperately need to raise money to raise awareness and fund research programmes to find a treatment that will slow down this aggressive disease until a cure is eventually found.

"The team would welcome the support of the mobile industry, and have set up a fundraising website for easy donation at"
