Sony Ericsson unveils eight megapixel camera phone


Sony Ericsson has announced the new C905 Cyber-shot, the first slider phone in the range and its most advanced camera phone yet.

The C905 comes with Xenon flash and auto focus, as well as 2GB memory stick. it also features GPS to enable ‘geotagging’ of pictures. The handset will be available in black, silver or copper in Q4.

The manufacturer has also announced an S302 Snapshot with two megapixel camera.

Sony Ericsson head of imaging marketing Sven Totte said: “The C905 Cyber-shot and S302 Snapshot have been developed to make us all better photographers.

“Although both have photography at their core, the phones are very distinct; the C905 is a viable alternative to a digital camera and the S302 is perfect for those who like to Bluetooth photos to friends.”
