Omnifone is looking to expand its MusicStation Max programme by working with more handset manufacturers.
An Omnifone spokesperson said: "We are in talks with a number of manufacturers for MusicStation Max."
LG was Omnifone’s first partner on the programme, but it would not release details about who it is in talks with, or time scale.
MusicStation Max is developed with manufacturers to provide pre-licenced handsets on 12 or 18-month contracts with unlimited music downloads.
The service also allows consumers to keep their favourite tracks when the contract ends, although Omnifone, developed by boss Rob Lewis (pictured), would not speculate on track numbers.
