Motorola said last week it will realign its relationships over the rest of the year to work with just six key distributors.
Motorola UK and Ireland general manager Jim Michel (pictured) told Mobile News: "The company has to restructure so we understand how our customers want to work. You will see us align ourselves with five or six key distributors. The strategy is that we can’t sell to everybody.
"As we are going through challenging times at a global level, we need to make sure we work with the right customers. We have to do what we need to do to make sure we’re still playing in Q4. The company has to make a number of changes to take us forward."
