Converged solutions provider Azzurri Communications said it is making big wins in the enterprise space following the completion of its company restructure last month.
After integrating 16 acquisitions, it said it would now target 20 per cent year-on-year organic growth.
Headquartered in Newbury, Azzurri made 71 of its 850 staff redundant in May.
It said acquisitions had created duplication in a number of roles. Financial targets were also missed in the first half of last year and chief executive Gordon Matthew said costs needed to be cut by 15 per cent.
Azzurri sales and marketing director Jason Standerwick said along with restructuring the operational board, financial targets had been realigned with its bank, which it was already surpassing.
Said Standerwick: "We feel we are now ahead of our competitors. After 16 acquisitions, things needed to be dealt with.
"We wanted to start leading in true converged solutions. We were still working in pockets of voice and data, so needed to converge our own businesses.
"We made some redundancies and looked carefully at our systems and processes. We have the most promising order book we’ve had in two or three years.
"We have definitely focussed our business now on organic growth rather than acquisitive. We are very confident about the next 12 months."
