The results of The Carphone Warehouse’s fifth Mobile Life Report were revealed this month, focussing on the need for increased safety on the internet, including the mobile internet, as the post television entertainment age arrives.
The retailer polled 6,000 people – 4,000 adults and 2,000 youngsters aged 11-18 – from the UK and US to paint a picture of modern day reliance on technology; how it’s re-shaping people’s lives and, in particular, the way it’s used by children.
Presenting the report at London’s Science Museum, Carphone chief executive Andrew Harrison (pictured) claimed: "Broadband is the biggest invention since electricity."
