O2 has extended its England sponsorship deal until 2012 in a deal worth £4 million a year.
The deal will see the O2 logo remain emblazoned on shirts for all England internationals, including the World Cup in New Zealand 2011.
It will have a significant presence at national stadium Twickenham, and O2 will get exclusive hospitality for clients and competition winners.
O2 also remains exclusive telecommunications provider to the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and its players. O2 customers will have access to exclusive England rugby content via O2 Active for four more years.
O2 UK CEO Ronan Dunne (pictured) said: "The partnership with England Rugby provides us not only with great visibility, but allows us to create unrivalled mobile content and experiences for O2 customers.
"The past seven years has seen some great highs for both the team and the brand, such as winning the 2003 Rugby World Cup."
O2 will continue to support the RFU’s community rugby initiatives to promote the sport.
O2 has sponsored the England Rugby team for 14 years and has reportedly increased its brand awareness by 27 per cent.
