Citymain has announced a new insurance product to cover laptops sold via the mobile
Citymain is looking to capitalise on the new trend for laptop sales by networks, high street retailers and dealers.
It has a range of insurance cover for theft, accidental damage, liquid damage, mechanical breakdown and worldwide travel cover. They are white label policies, which can be branded and also customised by resellers.
Resellers get a percentage of ongoing revenue from insurance contracts, and one-off payments on single purchase cover.
"Laptop sales are going through the roof. There’s been a massive shift in the market. We’ve had a number of inquiries and we now cover laptops in the same way we cover phones," said Citymain sales and marketing manager Neil Spanswick (pictured left, with managing director Paul Kelsey).
