Alcatel has unveiled its latest budget prepay handset, the candybar V212, which is an exclusive for Woolworths.
The black and white ‘zebra print’ handset, the latest addition to the manufacturer’s portfolio of fashion handsets, weighs 65g and should provide five hours talktime and 400 hours on standby between charges.
It has a one-touch ‘central eye’ keypad that allows users to navigate through the menu for calls and texts. An FM radio is also included.
Alcatel was asked to design a handset especially for family retailer Woolworths and came up with the zebra print fascia. The focus was on the overall design so that customers of all ages would have access to a stylish device.
The V212 is currently available at the high street retailer for £14.99, complete with accessories including phone socks and colour-coordinated boxes.
