JAG Communications has appointed a new stock control manager and introduced a web-based stock ordering system.

Jabez Pomeroy takes over from Darren Ward, JAG’s second longest serving employee with 17 years at the company.

Pomeroy will liaise with Shebang Distribution and branch managers to ensure correct stock is supplied.

His appointment is part of JAG’s ongoing expansion plans and brings its head office workforce up to 50.

JAG group operations manager Scott Fulfitt said: “We’re streamlining JAG’s operations by tightening our administrative procedures. By making our head office operations more efficient, we’re giving more time and resources to our workers in the field.”

The company has also launched a web-based internal stock ordering system, a careers website (www.jagcareers.co.uk) and a website for Perranporth Airfield, which is owned and controlled by the dealership.

JAG managing director John George said: “We are looking at ways to promote the activities and services available from the airfield. We might even offer flying lessons or scenic flights with selected phones in the next few months.”
