Kondor has secured a distribution agreement with ethnic market MVNO Lycamobile to supply its SIM cards to the non-traditional channel.
It will provide stock to Tesco, Toys R Us, Argos and Woolworths.
Lyca already uses Dextra and Data Select for distribution of SIM cards.
Lycamobile sales manager Jas Butar said: “We have chosen the strongest three distributors in the UK.
“We want to utilise each distributor’s relationships to sell our products into key high street outlets.”
Lycamobile started its marketing assault on September 22, costing the company £10 million. Butar said £3.5 million will be spent in the first quarter of 2009.
Kondor new business director Simon Hassell said Kondor is looking to introduce a Lyca-branded handset, so customers are not required to source unlocking solutions on old phones.
