O2 has launched a new customer reward scheme for contract customers spending over £35 per month.
The new ‘Priority Club’ rewards high-spending subscribers with extra minutes or texts, personal account management, early upgrades and exclusive VIP ticket offers for The O2 and other O2 sponsored events.
The three tiered programme puts customers in silver, gold and platinum bands, according to their spend.
Silver customers get extra voice/text allowance, free music downloads and restaurant discounts at The O2.
Gold customers get a priority customer service, personal account manager, as well as bigger value ‘silver’ rewards.
Platinum customers get a personal account manager, airtime extras and VIP tickets to events at The O2.
O2 UK marketing director Peter Rampling said: “Our key focus is to give all customers great value and give our premium customers even more special treatment as a thank you from O2.
“We have seen the success of reward schemes in other sectors, such as the airline sector, and applied many of these learnings to create a first in the mobile industry. Through the O2 Priority Club we will be able to better reward our high spending customers which will ultimately help us to keep our customers more satisfied”
