Orange distributor Mainline is bringing its telesales operation in house so it has direct control over the team and can maintain performance.
The operation will generate B2B leads and appointments for its clients where previously Mainline outsourced specific campaigns to a variety of telesales agencies.
“We’ve had mixed results with outside agencies,” said Boden (pictured).
“As one may start off very well, they tend to tail off and the quality deteriorates so the number of business opportunities they create reduces.”
He added: “You end up taking on another agency and so on. But now we think we have a formula that we can use in house and get the best results.”
Boden hopes that by bringing the telesales team in-house Mainline can ensure standards and consistency of performance by monitoring sales activity more closely.
