Fone Logs scores Virgin trial

Fone Logistics has landed a three-month distribution deal with Virgin Media that will enable its dealers to offer the company’s range of services.

Dealers will now be able to offer customers a range of home broadband, telephone and TV bundles. Fone Logistics sales and marketing director Julien Parven said: “Within the converged marketplace we have had to up our game in delivering a range of multimedia packages to give maximum opportunities for our dealers to earn more revenue, as well as being able to source their products from just one supplier.

“The reason the deal is only three months long is to give both parties an opportunity to assess the level of success this partnership has achieved.

“This deal with Virgin Media is a great move forward and enables us to be further recognised, not only as one of the leading suppliers of mobility solutions, but now in home entertainment, IT and telecom bundles.”

Virgin Media sales director Rob Shardlow (pictured) said: “Independent dealers can offer a great level of service and guidance to new customers and we’re glad to provide an additional revenue stream that comes without stock risk to this sector.

“We continue to invest in our services with the roll out of 50Mb fibre optic broadband and the launch of our 16Mb National ADSL broadband product. Working with the dealer community to excite customers about Virgin Media provides a strong new route to market for us.”

Fone Logistics currently has network partnerships in place with O2, Orange and 3, while it also distributes Vodafone’s fixed line offerings.
