Ingram Micro gets new execs


Ingram Micro UK has appointed Mike Farrah (picturd) and Apay Obangoyway as acting commercial director and head of software and mobility, respectively.

Farrah replaces Bhavesh Patel, who headed up vendor category products, marketing and e-commerce at Ingram Micro in the UK for 17 years.

Patel has joined handset distributor 20:20 Mobile as Group commecial director. 

Farrah directly reported to Patel and has been in the business for 10 years.

His previous role was head of category for PC and peripherals. Ingram Micro is yet to announce a permanent replacement.

Obangoyway replaces Darren Seward, who left after moving away from Ingram Micro’s UK headquarters in Milton Keynes.Obangoyway was previously head of category for Microsoft at Ingram Micro.

He is tasked with developing Ingram Micro’s mobile arm by sourcing new channels and products.
