O2 Ireland’s bill monitoring tool

Telefónica O2 Ireland has launched a bill monitoring tool to enable large businesses to drill down into company telecoms expenses  quickly.

‘O2 Analyser’ is offered by O2 in partnership with Soft-ex, a voice management software and hosted services company.

The service delivers clients’ billing information on company, department and individual accounts. O2 Ireland said it can process bills from multiple carriers and suppliers for both fixed and mobile usage, and generate automated cost and usage reports.

O2 Analyser  also offers inventory management including the number of mobile devices held in the business, as well as  realtime security alerts to inform clients of unusual call activity and protect against fraud,

O2 Ireland business sales director Jude Lynch said: “Businesses want more control to manage their operations. Cost control is paramount and our new online tool will be provide businesses with the information to reduce costs, improve control and introduce greater efficiencies”.

Meanwhile, O2 has made the BlackBerry Curve 8900 (pictured)available in Ireland.  The device features built-in Wi-Fi, GPS including BlackBerry Maps, a fast processor and a high-resolution display.

O2 Ireland head of ICT and enterprise Billy D’Arcy said: “Businesses and individuals are under pressure to make the best use of their time. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 is ideal for both business customers and consumers.”

The 8900 is available from O2 Ireland from €199 depending on tariff.
