Vodafone Ireland last week launched ‘Vodafone Office’, a fixed voice and broadband service for small business customers.
Vodafone claims the new offering can save an average small business up to €650 (£582) a year.
It said this would prompt 64 per cent of small business managers to reconsider their service provider.
Vodafone Office will offer small business customers free landline calls to more than 2.2 million Vodafone Ireland mobile customers and free local and national landline calls. Vodafone Office also includes a 3MB and 7.6MB DSL line.
Vodafone Office is priced at €49.99 per month. Existing Vodafone customers will receive the first three months for €25 per month.
Businesses that opt for Vodafone Office will have the option to take up Vodafone’s Mobile Broadband Instant Connect for free, with the purchase of a modem for €40.33, until its DSL line is connected.
Vodafone Ireland enterprise director Anne O’Leary said: “We are the number one mobile operator for business customers and we will be the number one total telecoms operator for businesses. We know 80 per cent of all businesses are interested in a total telecommunications solution and we are responding aggressively to meet this need.
“Vodafone Office is designed to enable small businesses to have more control over their telecoms costs. We believe the Vodafone Office package is the most competitive in the market at the moment for small businesses and we are the only operator offering free fixed to mobile calls for business.”
