Carphone Warehouse MVNO Talkmobile has increased its web sales conversion rate by 30 per cent over the past month after 20:20 Mobile, its web fulfiment agent, sought out marketing agency Silverbean to increase Talkmobile SIM card sales.
Talkmobile was unhappy with conversion rates on its website, said Silverbean, which stepped in to run search-engine optimisation and analytical data packages to generate sales.
It also sought to evaluate the effectiveness of the site as a sales channel and improved efficiency of the purchase process. It also shifted around the site layout to ensure key information was visible to visitors and that it was easy to navigate.
Andrew Beckett, head of Talkmobile’s online account for 20:20 Mobile said: “Silverbean worked with us to gain a better understanding of the front-end efficiency of the website. The combination of its expertise in website usability and access to the latest technologies has helped us deliver a huge impact on online sales for Talkmobile.”
