Leeds-based B2B dealer Blue Cow Mobile has opened a new call centre in Darlington, County Durham, as it looks to expand its presence in the North East.
Working with a Regional Development Agency the company has secured a percentage of the funding for the centre and employed 20 new staff.
“We’ve spent a lot of money and put in a lot of work,” said Blue Cow Mobile managing director Andy Taylor. “It’s part of our expansion plan and we’ve always been looking towards the North East.
“There’s a lot of doom and gloom at the moment but we’re in business of saving people money and it’s been business as usual for us.”
Taylor is also looking at further expansion, hoping to open two more sites in Darlington and North Tyneside in three months time, employing an additional 40 people.
