Fonehouse will no longer make 3 connections after Advantage, the distributor it was planning to team up with for this, went into administration last week.
The deal for Fonehouse’s franchise partners to receive 3 stock from Advantage was announced last month. Partners already connecting 3 were allowed to sell existing stock before receiving it through Advantage.
The retailer will now concentrate on its two remaining operators – T-Mobile and Vodafone.
Fonehouse managing director Clive Bayley (pictured) said: “Our deal with Advantage never really materialised. Everything went very quiet from its end.
“This was never going to be a major driver for us because our focus is on T-Mobile and Vodafone, so this won’t have any impact on us. We may look to bring 3 on board again through another distributor in the future.”
