Orange has refreshed its Animal plans for contract customers by integrating free multimedia services into them.
Existing and new customers signing up to Orange contracts will get inclusive Sat Nav, mobile internet and email services at certain price points.
Racoon tariffs still provide unlimited landline calls, Dolphin plans offer unlimited texts and Panther contracts now include unlimited emails. New Panther plans will focus on BlackBerry handsets with further phones to follow.
Customers on 24-month contracts of £30 per month or more will get free Sat Nav with Orange Maps on a range of handsets, including the BlackBerry Curve and LG Arena.
Customers paying over £40 on 24-month contracts get inclusive anytime mobile internet browsing.
Magic Numbers, which provides unlimited calls to customers’ favourite Orange mobile numbers, is now standard on all Animal tariffs. As a result, Canary will be phased out on new contracts.
Orange UK director of pay monthly Neil Macgeorge said: “Using mobiles to keep in touch with friends and family via Facebook or email, and to get info from maps and the internet is becoming part of everyday life. More customers want to user more of these services.
“With our refreshed pay-monthly Animal plans, our customers will be able to get these great services without worrying about any additional costs.”
