Barclay Communications has ended its contracts with every network apart from O2, becoming an exclusive partner and joining its centre of excellence program.
The Northern Ireland based company, which was recently crowned best B2B retailer at the Mobile News Awards, claims that it made the decision based on the strength of O2’s products and services.
“We have been astounded by the level of O2’s forward-thinking approach,” said Barclays managing director Britt Megahey. “As an operator, it is streets ahead of the other networks in the way it works with partners.
“Looking ahead, we are excited and impressed by O2’s mobile and fixed-line proposition, positioning us perfectly as convergence becomes an increasingly important area for the industry. The revenue-share model we have agreed with O2 will become an industry standard and, ultimately, made the decision to go exclusive an easy one.”
The deal with O2 will give Barclay access to O2’s Business Team and support across sales, customer service and marketing.
