HSC unveils rebrand

Hugh Symons Communications has finally rebranded as HSC and revealed a new corporate logo.

HSC business manager Bob Sweetlove said the move is made to clearly distinguish HSC from the old Hugh Symons Group name and brand imagery.

The new logo features three overlapping circles, representing HSC’s interests: airtime, hardware and software.

HSC has also recently moved to new premises.

Sweetlove said: “We wanted a vehicle to state our intention to be the leading specialist mobile distributor to all reseller channels.

“Whether you’re a veteran mobile dealer wanting the right distribution partner to take you into the converged world or a new entrant from the Telco or IT channel, HSC is the company to talk to.

“We are totally committed to a multi-network approach as we believe that it is the only sustainable model for the independent channel.

“However, we are working with all our network partners to ensure that we bring the right levels of product focus to their proposition.”

Sweetlove said a new dealer scheme to replace Unity will launch this month.

“Unity has been a great scheme but it’s time to move on,” he said.
“Some benefits are temporarily being rolled over to the existing Unity partners as we put the finishing touches to its successor.

“The new scheme will focus on what really matters to mobile dealers and has been built largely from direct feedback from dealers themselves.”

HSC will also be launching a new T-Mobile stockist program later this month with a dedicated invite-only event.
