B2B dealership 21C Telecom has signalled its intentions to acquire more companies after completing the purchase and full integration of landline business Communicate.
The deal adds 400 customers to 21C’s books, taking its total count to around 5,000 customers. Just two staff have moved across to 21C’s offices in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Managing director Richard Hunt (pictured) said although the £50,000 purchase signals 21C’s intent to acquire more dealers.
“The deal isn’t worth a huge amount but it will help us gain access to more council contracts, which Communicate specialised in,” he said.”More importantly we’re continuing to go down the converged line and beefing up our landline resources and customer base.
“We’re now in acquisition mode and we’re actively looking to acquire dealers. We’re searching for the right people who are willing to educate themselves and change with how the industry is converging.”
