Brightstar has appointed former 20:20 group business development director and Exradia UK chief executive Richard Turner (pictured) as European sales director.
Turner is tasked with opening up new markets for Brightstar outside its UK, Spain and Germany operations. It will debut in several new European markets within the coming months. The role has been newly created.
Turner will help assemble a sales team to command the new launches. He reports to Brightstar Europe chief executive Rod Millar, with whom he worked at 20:20.
Turner moved from anti-radiation device manufacturer Exradia to market data analyst firm Mediacells after Exradia UK was pulled. Brightstar Europe declined to comment.
Meanwhile, former Exradia chief technology officer Steve Moss has joined Mediacells as director of research and development.
