Virgin Media will unveil its new store in Plymouth tomorrow.
It is the company’s second own-brand store launch this year. Located on Plymouth’s New George Street, the store will showcase all of Virgin Media’s products and services; ultrafast fibre optic broadband, landline and digital TV packages including its TV on demand service, and the latest mobile phones and offers.
Virgin Media chief commercial officer Mark Schweitzer said: “We’re delighted to officially open our brand new Virgin Media store in Plymouth today. The store offers people in the city the chance to experience the latest Virgin Media and Virgin Mobile products in a fresh, new and exciting environment.”
Customers who visit the store on opening day will be able to get a demonstration of the V+ HD box and Virgin Media TV offering. The first 100 customers to sign up to selected bundles will also receive free installation, worth £30.
The opening follows that of Virgin Media’s new Birmingham store in March. The company said this week that it would refocus on opening more of its own-brand stores following the collapse of retailers Zavvi and Woolworths, which were key Virgin Mobile distribution outlets.
