T-Mobile has announced the appointment of former Capital One director Sirini Gopalan as its new chief marketing officer.
Gopalan joins T-Mobile after resigning as managing director for Europe at Capital One Bank, and will take up his role in June.
His key responsibilities will include being responsible for revenue development, covering customer relationship management, loyalty and retention, brand development and marketing communications.
T-Mobile HR director Mark Martin said: “With his wealth of experience in revenue management, customer insights and marketing communications, and his track record in building a challenger brand, Srini is perfectly positioned to help us realise our ambitious plans for T-Mobile in the UK.”
Gopalan added: “It’s a really great time to be joining T-Mobile – I’m excited about capitalising on the momentum generated by the iconic ‘Life’s for Sharing’ campaign, and bringing my experience of customer insight and management to such a dynamic sector.”
