Palm has said it has entered the final stages on deciding its strategy for the European market as it looks to re-enter the industry.
Speculation has surrounded Palm’s plans following the announcement of its Pre handset, which is seen as sparking its re-emergence back into the market.
Palm sales vice president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Paul Ghent said: “We’re close to a decision on our strategy for EMEA and we’re going through the final validation process at present.
“It’s important we take our time over this and get everything exactly right. The key is identifying where the big opportunities lie for us.”
