Vodafone has denied rumours it is to launch the Apple iPhone in the UK after its website advertised ways to customise the device on Vodafone specifically for the UK.
The site is designed for iPhone users who have unlocked the handset from rival O2 and want to set it up for Vodafone programmes. Customers can send details to Vodafone and receive a downloadable application to customise their homepage.
Vodafone said the application works across its business, including in Portugal and Greece where the iPhone it distributes the iPhones. It said the application works with the Nokia N95 also.
