20:20 launches dealer scheme

Distributor 20:20 last week launched a new Premier Partner Programme providing increased benefits and services to selected dealers, including a new online portal following successful trials.

20:20 gathered its 70 ‘leading’ partners at the Mercedes World centre in Weybridge last week to outline changes designed to improve communications and relationships.

Customers invited into its new Premier Partner Programme will receive a number of extra services including fixed pricing, marketing support, priority stock allocation and enhanced credit and commercial terms. 

In addition, partners will have access to a newly launched online ‘Partner Portal,’ built by its in-house IT team, which enables orders to be placed online and payments to be made. It also offers delivery tracking and enhanced product information.

20:20 is also to provide its partners with ‘tailored market insight’ allowing access to stock ranges and marketing collateral at any time. The portal, which took 18 months to develop, will be rolled out across the 20:20 group and key accounts in the coming months. A more generic version will be afforded to 1,000-plus mobile dealers.

20:20 Mobile UK sales director for dealers Steve Sanghera said: “We have listened closely to what our customers want from us and the portal and Premier Partner Programme is the first of several new partner-led initiatives we are launching over the coming weeks to improve the customer experience.

“Our aim is to build a deeper relationship with customers, allowing us to provide more bespoke support and services to them. We have been developing these initiatives for over 18 months.

They represent a long-term commitment from 20:20 to the independent channel. We have spent a lot of time visiting customers, listening to feedback and understanding their businesses. We are absolutely confident that our programme is best-in-class.”

20:20 UK managing director James Browning (pictured), added: “Our intention is to provide a more streamlined and joined-up service. We must provide dealers with the best service available in the marketplace.Dealers are still incredibly important to the mobile industry mix and our new portal will make dealing with us easier and more flexible in the future.”
