T-Mobile UK has appointed Helen Wylde as head of prepay marketing to head up revenue development for the prepay business.
Wylde joins from Lloyds TSB General Insurance where she was responsible for all aspects of customer marketing. She joins following the appointment of Srini Gopalan as chief marketing officer.
Prior to this, Wylde spent six years at Vodafone where she launched mobile data and various other propositions for the corporate markets. She then spent three years at O2 as head of corporate marketing, where she developed a new B2B marketing strategy.
Gopalan said: “Helen’s strong customer focus, outstanding leadership skills and proven track record of creating commercially successful marketing strategies makes her ideal for the role of Head of Prepay Marketing for T-Mobile. T-Mobile’s pay as you go portfolio is going from strength to strength and Helen is the ideal person to continue this growth and create enticing propositions for our existing and prospective customer base.”
Wylde added: “I’ve admired the company’s forward-thinking approach to customer tariffs, including the recent launches of Weekend and Monthly Rewards and PAYG Boosters which offer incredible flexibility, value and choice for customers. I’m really looking forward to being able to consolidate these existing propositions and build the portfolio even further.”
