Orange has become the first UK network to launch the Samsung S5600, a handset aimed at social networkers on the go.
The full touchscreen phone comes with Orange Windows Live and mobile widgets that can be dragged and placed on the screen for one-click access to favourite applications, as well an accelerometer and 2.8-inch display.
Also included is a 3.2-megapixel camera with camera features such as smile shot, music recognition using Shazam’s ‘Find Music’ and an expandable memory slot for a further 8GB of storage.
Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland vice president Mark Mitchinson said: “The Samsung S5600 offers a truly stylish design and an intuitive user interface for the most image conscious mobile users. For social networking enthusiasts the S5600’s widget and full internet browsing capabilities mean they will never miss out on a status update or the latest photos ever again.”
The S5600 comes in black, pink and white and is now available for free from Orange on a £20 per month, 24-month contract, or for £159.50 on prepay.
